The duel has been fought; the assualt has been repelled; the glorious game has been played. And, oh
what a game! Having eagerly awaited this chance to win the crown from the Old Men since the summer
of 2004, Slayers FC was ready, willing and keen to bring the game to the Old Dudes and show them
that there is a bunch of new kids on the block.
The game was rife with controversy. From desperate shouts for handball to the use of fists, and from calls for the refs execution to some unwarranted speech play, all who took part in this game will take home something to remember.
