This match had been long anticipated by all for at least five minutes. By which time Rodney and Spar-Plate had turned up. Jonny "Aren't These Fair Teams?" NOT decided that his team were going to win so put Trooper with the forecasted losers.
Jeffery's random mate... Vernon... Veron... Violet or whatever he's called made "7 + 1" and equalled eight for this encounter in the cage. What was most surprising was the fact that Troop "You's Are All [censored]" Potty Mouth was paired off with Jeff's 5'11", 10 stone mate because "They Were Roughly The Same Standard" (Source Jeff Shaw 2003).
Can you tell I thought the teams were biased?! Although somehow the losers took a quick 4-0 lead. Piece-Man and Mache were combining well with Rodney and Troop slagging off each other's Ma. The renaissance hadn't even left France by the time the "Team Without Trooper" fought back and realised they were up against three players (and some short blonde thing running wild). Frantic running from all quarters (and halfs and 3/5s) took the winners beyond the losers and at half time the score was 8-6.
The losers kept the scores as tight as Stingray's mouth is closed but couldn't stop Veronica "?" and Co scoring. The tactic of soaking up a few goals and scoring the odd one on the break wasn't bringing dividends. Special "Mission" K was putting it in everywhere all over the pitch... even Rod nearly got one in the eye.
Not much else happened apart from a lot of arguing about who should be marking Jonny "Step-Father Of The Step-Over" M while the losers all stood about down the wrong side of the pitch.
With the amount of tackles and balls flying about Trooper was not allowed to occupy nets. The winners were probably already breaking enough child abuse laws on him as it was.
The winners won comfortably in the end but by that time we were glad to stop making fools of ourselves in front of the heads waiting to occupy the cage.
